Help with phobias and fears
If a fear seems out of proportion and you have started planning your life around it, that is a phobia doing its job. You do not have to be forced to face the thing. We can turn the volume down another way.

What it can feel like
- A fear that feels bigger than the situation
- Routes, rooms or invitations you quietly avoid
- Dreading something days before it happens
- Feeling silly about it, and stuck with it anyway
How I can help
Flying has its own page. People also come for needles, dentists, dogs, spiders, heights, lifts, driving, vomiting, or being sick. We find what first set the fear off and how it keeps itself going, then reduce the emotional charge with NLP, eye-movement work and hypnotherapy. If the fear is unusual, that does not rule it out. Tell me what it is on the free call.
What sessions are like
Sessions are 90 unrushed minutes, at the home office in West Norwood (SW16, near Streatham, Tulse Hill and Dulwich) or online across the UK. A session is £135, or four for £395. A free 20-minute call comes first, and we review how things are moving as we go. How many sessions varies from person to person. Many people find a single session makes a real difference. We talk about what is realistic for you on the free call.
In clients’ own words
“We got back from holiday yesterday and whilst we didn’t see one snake in India, even the thought or fear was not as prominent as it has been. Checking the hotel room felt routine rather than chronic fear. The children were watching Jumanji — normally I would stay well clear of the snake scene. This time I watched it all and wasn’t phased. What you do is nothing short of a miracle.”
Questions people ask
- Will you make me face the thing I am afraid of?
- No. We work with the memory and the reaction, not by putting you in front of it.
- Can it be done online?
- Often, yes. Eye-movement work is in person. The other approaches work online.
- What if my fear is unusual?
- Tell me what it is on the free call. Unusual does not mean we cannot work with it.
