Help with anger and irritability
If you go from calm to furious faster than you mean to, and then regret it, the anger is usually sitting on top of something else. Stress, hurt, fear or an old resentment. You can calm the reaction without a lecture.

What it can feel like
- A short fuse at home or at work
- Going from zero to furious
- Regret after you have snapped at someone you care about
- Tension that other people can feel before you say anything
How I can help
We find what sets it off and calm that reaction, using cognitive techniques, NLP and hypnotherapy. Sessions are confidential and one-to-one. The focus is practical change, not blame and not a retelling of every argument. You stay responsible for what you do. The session is about making the reaction less automatic, so the gap between the trigger and the reply gets a little wider.
What sessions are like
Sessions are 90 unrushed minutes, at the home office in West Norwood (SW16, near Streatham, Tulse Hill and Dulwich) or online across the UK. A session is £135, or four for £395. A free 20-minute call comes first, and we review how things are moving as we go. How many sessions varies from person to person.
This page is about everyday anger and irritability. If anyone is at risk of harm, contact the police on 999, or the National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247.
Questions people ask
- Is this anger management?
- It is practical help with the reaction, not a group course and not a telling-off.
- Do I have to talk about my childhood?
- Only if it is actually part of what sets the anger off. We do not start there as a routine.
- Can my partner come?
- Sessions are one-to-one. You are welcome to tell them you are coming.
